Associate Professor of the Department of Biodiversity, Ecology and Evolution at the Faculty of Biological Sciences of the Complutense University of Madrid (Spain). My lines of research mainly focus on the evolutionary ecology of plants with special interest on the analysis of the interactions between species, how plants survive and thrive in their natural environment, and which are the mechanisms responsible for acclimatization and adaptation from plants to extreme environmental conditions.
