I am botanist at the University of Leon (Spain). My research is focused on several plants groups, especially the Monocots, being involved for many years in the Iberian flora, plant diversity and conservation projects. I currently work on systematics, and evolution of grasses, sedges and orchids, and plant diversity conservation. I am also interested in invasive plants and risk assessment. IFor my specialities I am very interested in the valorization and conservation of natural history collections.
