My research is at the interface of ecology and evolutionary biology. It mainly focuses on understanding the ecological processes that explain species distribution ranges, including adaptation and plasticity of fitness-related traits. Much of my research is on forest trees because they are foundation species in terrestrial ecosystems with high economic importance.
