Professor Emeritus at the Department of Biology (UAM). Bryologist for more than 3 decades, I have worked on bryophyte distribution and ecology with special focus on the epiphytic ones, and especially on taxonomy and phylogeny of Orthotrichaceae. Currently, interested in a better understanding of the phylogenetic relationships and biogeography of Orthotrichoideae (Orthotrichaceae), with special focus on the cryptic diversity and the highlight of current distributional ranges of the members of this subfamily.
