Professor of Botany at the University of Cádiz, where I teach Biogeography & Biodiversity. My research interests are in the areas of (i) plant biogeography, (ii) ecology of fire and evolution of Mediterranean plants, (iii) biotic interactions in carnivorous plants, and (iv) biodiversity and conservation of Mediterranean heathlands.
