Juan Lorite is full professor at the Department of Botany and Director of the Herbarium at University of Granada. Also, he is Associate Researcher at the Andalusian Center for the Assessment and Monitoring of Global Change at the Interuniversitary Institute for Earth System Research (IISTA). In the last years his research has been focused in restoration ecology and plant conservation in different Mediterranean habitats, with focus in alpine areas.
