Assistant Researcher at the Department of Life Sciences – University of Coimbra and Centre for Functional Ecology, where she co-coordinates the FLOWer Lab. She develops her research in areas of flower biology, plant reproduction and evolution of flowering plants, and evolutionary dynamics of diploid-polyploid complexes and ecological consequences of genome duplications. More recently, she is involved in applied projects, quantifying plant-pollinator interactions and pollination services in natural and anthropized ecosystems and testing solutions to conserve and promote pollination services in agroecosystems.
