TYPES OF POSTERS

ELECTRONIC POSTERS

The submitted poster must be in PPT (PowerPoint Presentation) format with dimensions of 28.58 cm width x 50.8 cm height. These dimensions are mandatory as is the use of a template that you can download in the Scientific Area of the congress website (“Download the electronic poster template here”).   

The poster must not exceed 10 Megabytes in size and must be in a vertical orientation (horizontal posters and PDF formats are not accepted).

Audio or videos cannot be inserted into the electronic poster.

The poster can be uploaded through the conference website by entering the Personal Area with your USERNAME and PASSWORD. You will see a section named: PROPOSALS. You must upload your presentation through the arrow. 

The deadline for uploading the poster to the Personal Area is July 10, 2024, at 13:00 (Madrid time zone). After this deadline, the upload system will be closed

PHYSICAL POSTERS AND POSTER DISCUSSION

The maximum size for physical posters is 90 cm wide x 110 cm high in vertical orientation.

Those interested in presenting their physical poster must bring it with them to the conference.

There is space for 1,000 physical abstracts. Depending on the final number of physical posters, you may be asked to remove your poster in the middle of the week so that a new poster display can be set up. You will be notified when all poster authors have selected the format.

The time for discussion of physical posters will coincide with the coffee breaks Monday through Friday (https://ibcmadrid2024.com/index.php?seccion=scientificArea&subSeccion=mainCrono).

To facilitate the discussion of physical posters, a schedule is provided below.

Presenters of physical posters whose number falls within one of the following time slots should be available to answer questions around their poster (in the Poster Area, Hall 10) during that time slot.
